General information

"NSF Burwater and the New Zealand School of Food Hygiene have been in business since 1989."

It all started with our radical thinking in 1989. We wanted to create an original concept of a professional Food Safety Consultancy, capable of providing various trainings and, most importantly, "Making a Difference" in New Zealand Food Industry. Since then, we have developed our experience and expertise to support our current position of being New Zealand’s Leading Food Safety Trainers and Consultants. NSF Burwater consult with national organisations such as Progressive Enterprises and many of their suppliers, as well as a variety of manufacturers and retailers throughout the country.

Operating as the New Zealand School of Food Hygiene Limited, trading as part of the Burwater Pacific Group, and now part of NSF International, we are an NZQA-approved Private Training Establishment (PTE) and work closely with other industry training organisations such as Competenz and Service IQ.

We have formed professional relationships with growing number of associates and experts for many years. This enables us to offer a greater depth of experience, both technically and geographically. In addition, we are now supported by the added strength of NSF International’s technical experts in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. NSF Burwater's clients have access to NSF’s extensive suite of services, helping food businesses across all supply chain sectors protect their customers and brands.
