Welcome to Enviro-Mark Solutions Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Landcare Research that provides environmental certification programmes. With the help of our programmes, members reduce operating costs, demonstrate environmental leadership, provide assurance for their customers and other stakeholders, and gain a competitive edge.

Our programmes

The carboNZero programme helps members to measure and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions, and offset any unavoidable emissions. Certification is to the highest international standards, such as ISO 14064-1:2006 and PAS 2050:2011.

CEMARS is essentially the first two steps of carboNZero certification – the measurement and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, followed by independent verification and certification.

Enviro-Mark is New Zealand’s leading environmental management certification programme. Member organisations receive all the tools and resources necessary to implement a credible environmental management system (EMS) in five logical steps.

Prior to the creation of Enviro-Mark Solutions Limited in July 2013, the carboNZero and CEMARS greenhouse gas certification programmes were managed by the Landcare Research owned subsidiary called carboNZero Holdings, while the Enviro-Mark programme was provided by Landcare Research.
