The Central North Island Kindergarten Association was formed in 1979 when a number of smaller Associations amalgamated to work as one.
In January 2013 the Central North Island Kindergarten Association became a registered charitable trust under the registered name Central North Island Kindergarten Trust operating as Central Kids.
We operate 48 kindergartens and provide managment services to 8 Early Learning Centres between Whitianga in the North, Taumarunui in the South and Ōpōtiki in the East.
