In 1984 Fischer Pope Diesel opened their doors originally servicing and rebuilding diesel engines and transmissions. Recognizing a growing need for hydraulic parts and services the company moved on to specialise in hydraulic diagnosis, repair and testing, quickly gaining recognition as one of the leading repairers and parts supplier. Over the past 30 years we have continued to evolve with our industry and as a result in 2015 we changed our name to Fluid Power Distributors (FPD) to reflect our commitment to the fluid power industry.

FPD's hard earned reputation for providing top quality hydraulic parts, has seen us emerge as a leading hydraulic supplier of parts servicing 1000's of customers from our Waikato location right throughout New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, South East Asia and Australia.
