General information

Care is especially important to us at Windermere. As far as possible we endeavour
to plan your care to accommodate your preferences. This includes things like
‘sleeping in’ ‘staying up late’ having your shower at the time of day that suits you
etc. Touch and talking are very important aspects of our care. Spending time with
a resident just doing their nails is an example of how this can easily be achieved.
We celebrate all of life’s events with our residents, which in some instances
includes holding their funeral at the home. Our residents feel this is appropriate
and we are honoured to do this. We have also held weddings here!
