Brooklands Boating Club

General information

The Brooklands Boating Club is well-established and has operated successfully on the Wairoa River at 600 North Road since the 1970’s. New members are always welcome.

Location & Proximity-The Club is approximately 1.5km (0.8Nm) from the river mouth so at 5Nm/hr you can be cruising in the Hauraki Gulf within 10 minutes of setting sail.

Security-Security is excellent. Traffic on the river is relatively low and there is ample hardstand area to park vehicles. Vehicles are very safe as they are 1.2km off the main road which has padlocked security gates.

Berths- The Club has a consent for up to 118 Pile Moorings which are being installed as demand requires. We can cater for both monohull and multihull vessels up to 29m in length.

Pontoons- we a 90m walk on pontoon for loading & unloading. Work births can also be booked at the end of the Pontoon.

Dinghy Lockers- covered dinghy lockers are available for all members.

Washdown Water- there is washdown water available on the pontoons for cleaning vessels.

[Drinking Water- drinking water is available and comes from roof water caught onsite]

Power- power is available onsite for boat maintenance purposes [to elaborate when we know what we are doing]

Haul Out- the club has haul out facilities available for members.

Storage- hardstand is available for the storage of large vessels or trailer boats.
