Mackit seamlessly combines innovative architectural design with top quality building craftsmanship. We take care of every aspect of your project from the first sketch to the front gate, leaving you to relax in the knowledge that every detail will be attended to.
Mackit was founded in Wellington in 2008 by James Mackie who, after spending five years building from plans designed by others, wanted to utilise his own design skills and passion for architecture. Armed with both a Bachelor of Design (Hons.) and a NZ Certificate in Carpentry, James set out to design beautiful homes and spaces for discerning clients, and go on to build them to an equally beautiful standard.
Mackit has now expanded to cover the Wairarapa region as well as Wellington, and we would love to discuss your project with you. Right from the seed of a potential renovation or new home, it is never too early to get in touch and discuss the possibilities for your perfect living environment.
