General information
We identified a need for high interest readers for older emergent readers. We looked at the research around emergent readers and the format that needed to follow including high frequency words, grammar, words count and word repetition.
We have written 3 levels of emergent reader ebooks. These are aimed at being instructional. All levels have between 9 - 18 pages.
Level 1 has between 50 - 115 words with a high level of repetition.
Level 2 has between 75 - 150 words with the introduction of different tenses and grammatical structures.
Level 3 has between 155 - 225 words.

At the end of each ebook there are 4 comprehension questions. These are designed to help engage the teacher and student in conversation around the ebook.
